General Motors to eliminate Saturn brand, phase-out Pontiac
General Motors intends to kill off the Saturn brand, and a de-emphasize Pontiac as part of its viability plan. Saturn dealerships will be closed by 2011, and no new models will be introduced under the nameplate. Meanwhile, Pontiac will be phased out as a distinct division. However, certain “niche” models will still cary the Pontiac name.

Midway's bankrupt, owes $281,033,000 to 29 companies
GamePolitics has combed through federal court records for additional insights into Midway's recent bankruptcy.
