Why Steroids are not the worst thing to happen to baseball

The perception is that steroid users somehow ‘tip’ the level playing field and provide such partakers an unfair advantage (which is my favorite cry from “outraged” fans - that ‘unfair advantage’ clamor!) is to assume that the field was level to begin with. Which would be your first mistake.
